Rebecca Strong

Rebecca is a Canadian singer who rose to fame as  the winner of Canada's Got Talent (CGT) in 2024 during its historic "Million Dollar Season". A 22 year old member of the Black Lake Denesuline First Nation, she made history as the first Indigenous woman to win the competition, taking home the $1 million grand prize.

Rebecca began singing publicly at age five, debuting at the Voice of the North festival. She spent her childhood performing alongside her father in Thunder and the Skydancers, and later alongside her sisters as the Strong Sisters.

Rebecca has used her platform to advocate for youth and embrace her culture. She bought her own professional recording equipment to work on original music rooted in her personal experiences.
