Lawrence Joseph

Music was one of Lawrence's greatest passions. He travelled for many years with this band sharing his music with many. He also sang at a variety of shows throughout his life and recorded several songs. His life in the public eye also included being a speaker, an entertainer and a career emcee for so many events. Lawrence was the author of a number of poetry collections

Lawrence had the strongest faith that was the foundation for all he did. Although he grew up in a day school/residential school which created a disconnect from his traditional practices, he was able to reconnect to his culture later in llife.

Lawrence was well-known as a powerful public speaker who stood up for what was right, even when it irritated others. In private he was a gentle man who loved music and being a lay-ready at his church.
